A Richland woman will be spending time behind bars for allegedly selling drugs out of a fast-food restaurant located near a local school.

An investigation led by Richland Police’s FLEX unit uncovered that Brandi Jo Luke had been selling narcotics while employed at the fast-food restaurant. Authorities report that, on one occasion, Luke distributed the substances to somebody through the restaurant’s drive-through window.

The restaurant where Luke was employed is located right next to a local school, increasing the severity of the crime.

Luke is charged with selling methamphetamine within 1,500 feet of a school, selling schedule IV controlled substances within 1,500 feet of a school, and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.

If convicted of all three charges, Luke, who has a previous felony conviction, could face up to 31 years in prison.

Every division within the Richland Police Department assisted in this case.
