After 16 years with the New Orleans Saints, Head Coach Sean Payton is stepping down.
He informed the organization of his retirement on Tuesday, after having led the franchise to a Super Bowl victory in 2010 and having authored some of the most explosive offenses in NFL history.
No word on what he’ll do next, but there are rumors he’s been targeted for a position on one of the major broadcasting networks.
Expect the #Saints to interview Dennis Allen — considered the leading candidate — and #Lions DC Aaron Glenn for their now vacant HC job. https://t.co/7v8gr8GW0c
