The Minnesota Twins selected Southern Miss star pitcher Tanner Hall in the fourth round of the MLB Draft Monday afternoon.

Hall, the first consensus All-American in school history, led the Golden Eagles this past season to their second consecutive super-regional appearance. The right-hander finished the season with a 12-4 record, a 2.48 ERA, and 124 strikeouts on the way to being named Sun Belt Pitcher of the Year.

Over the course of three seasons in Hattiesburg, Hall compiled an overall record of 22-8 with a 2.92 ERA and 302 strikeouts. The Louisiana native also gave up just 53 walks over 250 innings of work.

With Hall’s selection, Southern Miss has now had a player drafted in the first four rounds of every MLB Draft since 2017.
