In the latest D1Baseball rankings, Southern Miss has dropped from No. 4 to No. 7.
After a mid-week win over Southeastern Louisiana, the Golden Eagles (34-10, 17-4 Conference USA) lost their first conference series of the season to UAB. Nevertheless, Scott Berry’s squad is still in a good position to host a regional come June (Also, shoutout to Berry for becoming the winningest coach in school history).
