In August, State Health Officer Dr. Thomas Dobbs received threatening phone calls over conspiracy theories about his family. He’s taking to social media once more to dispel any rumors.
Thursday, he tweeted that he’s been hearing conspiratorial rumblings. He wants Mississippians to know he’s never worked for a pharmaceutical company, doesn’t have a contract with one, and receives no money from pharmaceutical companies.
Hearing conspiratorial rumblings
Please know – I have never worked for a pharmaceutical company. I do not have a contract with a pharmaceutical company. I get ZERO money from any pharmaceutical company. I won’t even accept a cup of coffee from a drug rep (but value their work)
