One lucky lottery player in Tishomingo County walked away with $150,000 after Monday’s Powerball drawing.
The ticket, purchased from Express Mart in Belmont, matched four of five white balls plus the Powerball, making it worth $50,000. However, the player purchased the Power Play feature, multiplying winnings by three times and resulting in a $150,000 total.
The winning Powerball numbers were 9-22-57-67-68 with a Powerball of 14.
The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday has been reset to an estimated $20 million after a $214 million grand prize ticket was sold in Pennsylvania ahead of Monday’s drawing.
