Officials are searching for three teenagers who have escaped the Henley-Young-Patton Juvenile Justice Center in Jackson.

Tayshom Holmes, 17, Robert Earl Smith, 16, and Jashon Jones, 15, broke out of the facility Tuesday night, injuring another detainee and a guard in the process.

Although the Hinds County Sheriff’s Office is not responsible for the operations and security of the facility, Sheriff Tyree Jones said deputies are aiding in the search for Holmes, Smith, and Jones.
