Tunica teen arrested for triple homicide, faces possibility of death penalty

A north Mississippi teenager has been locked up for his alleged role in killing three people.

The Tunica County Sheriff’s Office reports that 18-year-old Deonte Carnell Taylor was arrested on Wednesday for a triple homicide that occurred in Robinsonville on Friday, November 10.

Taylor is accused of taking the lives of 23-year-old Steven Dewayne Burts, 24-year-old Deshun Montario Isabell, and 25-year-old Tednequa Tenice Moore as well as her unborn child.

Due to the severity of the crime, the Tunica teenager is being charged with three counts of capital murder, four counts of shooting into a motor vehicle, and four counts of conspiracy to commit a crime.

He faces the possibility of life in prison or even the death penalty if convicted and is being held without bond.
