Registration is now open for women to receive free screenings in central Mississippi.
The University of Mississippi Medical Center’s Cancer Center and Research Institute and the College of American Pathologists Foundation will be hosting the See, Test, and Treat event on Saturday, April 6 at the Jackson Medical Mall.
The clinic will run from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. and serves to give medical attention to uninsured and underinsured women.
Free cervical cancer screenings will be offered for women ages 21-64 with same-day results available. Mammograms will be given to women ages 40-64 with same-day results available. Oral cancer screenings will be offered to women of all ages.
Light refreshments will be provided. Women will also be given access to further health education and access to community resources.
