While temperatures will remain low, it should be a sunny start to the weekend across Mississippi. Here’s your statewide forecast from the National Weather Service.
Northern Mississippi
It won’t feel as cold outside as it did Thursday, but highs will be in the upper 30s with lows in the 20s. Mostly sunshine can be expected all day with no chance of rain in the forecast.
Central Mississippi
Once the sun comes out, highs will hover around the mid-40s. Come nightfall, temperatures could drop as low as the 20s. Minimal cloud activity is being tracked.
Southern Mississippi
The southern part of the state may be the only region that sees temperatures climb into the 50s. Sunshine is expected, but once nighttime comes, temperatures will drop back into the 30s.
