Weather across the Magnolia State calls for a slight chance of rain and warmer temperatures than yesterday with some signs of sunshine over the day.

Northern Mississippi:

The weather for Thursday in the northern part of Mississippi calls for partly cloudy skies and a small chance for showers all day. Temperatures will be warmer than yesterday, as they are anticipated to sit in the lower 80s for most of the day. At night, some of the clouds should dissipate and cooler 60-degree weather should roll in.

Central Mississippi:

Similar weather is expected in Central Mississippi, as a slight chance of rain sits in the forecast all day. A good bit of sun should peek through the clouds, accompanied by moderate temperatures in the mid-80s. As the sun sets and clouds disperse, temperatures will drop to the upper 50s and more of the starry night sky should be seen.

Southern Mississippi:

Lower parts of the state will see showers and sun as well on Thursday with temperatures ranging from the low to mid-80s all day. Temperatures will lower to the 60s as nighttime progresses with mostly clear skies coming in over time.
