Northern Mississippi–
Scattered thunderstorms and a chance of light rain through this evening. Highs will be in the upper 80s with lows near 70.
Central Mississippi–
A slight chance of light rain and isolated thunderstorms through this evening. Highs will be in the lower to mid-90s, with the highest heat index readings between 100 and 103. Lows tonight will be in the lower 70s.
Southern Mississippi–
Sunny with highs in the mid-90s, heat index readings between 100 and 105. Clear tonight with lows in the mid-70s.
